The Nevada Homeless Alliance’s signature event is Project Homeless Connect, a service and resource fair for the homeless and low income. Services provided aim to break down barriers to housing and self sufficiency, including but not limited to shelter, health care, legal issues, job readiness, food and behavioral health. Since its establishment, the NHA has convened community partners in the planning and execution of 22 Project Homeless Connects. The last five years alone, these events have assisted more than 15,000 homeless clients in accessing resources and services. PHC includes more than 100 service providers and 700 community volunteers who serve more than 3,000 individuals per event. It has been a community event for the last 23 years. In 2016, we will be holding PHC on November 15th at Cashman Center. The event will focus on serving not only those who are currently homeless, but those at risk of homelessness.

2016 PHC Booth Application for Providers

2016 PHC Policies and Procedures

All providers must complete a booth application for their organization’s participation.  If your organization intends to have more than one booth (in different service sections,) one application must be submitted for each section you wish to participate in.  Electronically signed policies and procedures must be submitted for each representative that will be in attendance during the event.  For example, Agency A will submit one booth application for a table in Veteran Services, and one booth application for a table in Behavioral Health.  Each representative working those two booths would then need to sign and submit the P&P form using the below link.

**There is no cost to have a booth at Project Homeless Connect.


Please note that you must first register for the United Way website, and then sign up for the event.  Volunteer registration will be open August 2016.

Over 700 volunteers are needed to assist clients with event check-in and check-out.  Volunteers are also utilized to escort clients between services, assist with giveaways, and more!  There are multiple shift opportunities to accommodate different schedules.
